Herd, Band, Rookery Creation Contest!

If you are ready to create your own herd, band or rookery there are a few things we'll want you to do first!

• Have character that has been moved to the Accepted characters forum.
  
• Make sure we are accepting the creation of new groups! These will be posted in this thread, so make sure to keep checking back!
  
• We require your stallion or mare to have a following of at least three other adults before the herd, band or rookery can be created.
  
• Pick the name of your band, and a territory that they will call their own. If it's a band, they have no 'set' territory, but can have a 'home range' that most of their rps will happen in. If you don't wish for members of the band to be claimable, make sure the home range doesn't overlap herd or rookery territory.
  
• Pick your colors: Make sure these colors are visible behind a white background. Your 'banner' will look much like the Eventide one, so make sure they're not going to be hard to see.
  
• Create a description for your territory! This will be the description used when we create the forum for that herd, band or rookery. This is a one time thing and only the creator of the group can set the 'forum' description.
  
• Use the application form listed below and post your application for the herd, band or rookery on this thread.
  
• Once an administrator has approved the creation of your group, we will set up the forum and its description. Once that has been set up, you will then need to post a 'claiming' thread... where the ranks of those involved in your group will be assigned.
  
• If you should fall inactive for any reason, the lands you claimed as your own will be left open - and those that come behind you can claim them. They can also challenge to take them from you.. so be ready for something like that should it happen.
  

Currently we are opening the creation of all three groups to a CONTEST!
This means that we are waiving the requirement of having three followers in your group to allow a single lone stallion to stake out a territory! All you need to do is make sure the profile is complete, accepted.. and fill in the form below!

Territory: The territory of Labrynth is situated on the side of Flamewatch Spire which views the sun when it sets. It cascades down through a quarter of Throekarr Forest (the part which is closest to the Spire).

Description: Labrynth lands are situated on the sunset-side of Flamewatch Spire, hosting many caverns, caves, and a network of tunnels just right for fitting a small horse within. It cascades down to a portion of Throekarr Forest where the mists and trees collide with the harsh rocks at the base of Flamewatch Spire. A waterfall runs off the base of the Spire into a large pool just within the shadows of the Forest....a large cluster of thickets brink along the side of the pool, sporting delicious berries.

The heavy beating of large, powerful wings rent the air, and the fluffy, orange clouds (stained such a hue by the early evening sunset) were swept apart in a secluded area of the pinkish sky. Suddenly, a flash of brown and white appeared, and a small, shaggy horse, though powerful in contrast with its size, soared through the pathway it had created. Its short legs churned in time with its powerful, dark brown wings, which folded to its side. The horse - rather, the pegasus - angled its forequarters downwards and began a spectacular dive.

The atmosphere shook around Fletcher as he dove through thick, enveloping mists towards the island beneath him. His wings angled outwards, helping to slow him down with urgent flaps and sweeps in the air. With a few light thuds, the small pegasus landed on the stony earth. He was at the base of a tall, twisting mountain, which he had heard of by a little birdie as being called "Flamewatch Spire". He swung his head around, soft, brown eyes moist and analyzing, and viewed the brink of a shadowy forest. The Icelandic pegasus slowly walked towards it, melting into its depths.

It was dark, and a little unsettling in the shadowy cloaks of Throekarr Forest, but Fletcher was not afraid. He never was. The strong stallion expertly examined the area around him, and ahead he spied a pool quilted beneath heavy mists. Approaching it, he lowered his head, and his velvety grey muzzle dipped into the water.

Later, the pegasus burst from the Forest canopy, and began cantering in the air upwards. He spied a large, flat, sturdy ledge ahead, and swooped towards it. He landed on it with a clop, and turned.

A long, bugle-like call echoed across Flamewatch Spire, calling all pegasi to come and become a part of the rookery which he aimed to create. Labrynth.
